2020 Spring Term Online Japanese Classes for Business Purposes

by Lynn Moyers on April 7, 2020

Classes start the week of April 27 and we’re hosting small groups from 4-7 students. The Spring Term starts with one 30-minute class to ensure connectivity, then 8 weeks of 75-minute classes.

Because of the Covid-19 outbreak we’ve slashed pricing. We understand that times are tough right now, and we really want to encourage students to continue with Japanese language study.

Classes are held early evenings during weekdays, and this term we have Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Beginner 6, Improver 3 and Intermediate levels.

Registration is now open until April 22, or whenever the class fills.

Our students were asked to describe their (winter 2020) term for other future students. Here’s what they said:

Beginner 1 – A great starting point for understanding the basic structure of Japanese language
Beginner 5 – A great mix of learning, excellent sensei.
Improver 2 – You need to have some knowledge of vocab, verb conjugation and pronumciation. You can hold simple conversations, describe things and share your perspectives. You’re trying to create longer, more difficult sentences.
Intermediate – Learning Japanese through current events-based articles. Vocab, kanji, grammar points, a constant (but enjoyable) struggle into complex thoughts, ideas, and expression.
