Oregon Property Management, a growing property management company located in Northeast Portland, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our diverse team. This position is part time, but with the potential of growing into full-time.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process invoices, obtaining proper approvals
- Enter vendor invoices into Skyline system after reviewing coding
- Weekly check runs, including cutting checks, obtaining signatures and mailing
- Post daily cash receipts journal
- Post monthly billing
- Calculate additional rent for each tenant
- Post tenant late fees in Skyline system
- Reconcile several bank accounts
- Input journal entries
- Maintain proper vendor setup,including collecting the W9
- Mailing of monthly tenant statements
- Assist OPM team with special projects
- Order office supplies when needed
- Keep office tidy
- Greet guests
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with general accounting practices
Ability to manage a multitude of documents
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Office equipment
Microsoft Office Suite
Quickbook experience a plus, but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting for long periods of time, occasional lifting to file, and ability to work at a computer for
extended periods of time
WORK EXPERIENCE
2 to 3 years in an administrative or accounting environment. Property accounting experience a plus but not required.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Associates degree or acceptable transferable experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
