JASO Members’ News and Update: “Tell us about your business”

Always good natured, The Bidwell is Portland’s newly renovated lifestyle hotel located in the heart of downtown. We bridge a good-natured, boutique vibe with the confidence and character of the Marriott brand.  We treat travelers to elevated accommodations paired with trusted quality and insider experience, pleasing brand loyalists and new travelers alike.  Our location offers great access to the city’s best restaurants, bars and culture while also being steps from the area’s favorite natural playgrounds.

Each spacious guest room boasts a stunning view of the city, mountains or renowned Oregon scenery. High Horse, our on property restaurant, offers an elevated selection of regionally inspired food and drinks overlooking one of Portland’s most storied and vibrant streets. Our signature M Club lounge is the perfect place to work, connect, and unwind.

In addition to Kuze Fuku & Sons’ popular Yuzumiso premium sauce, 3 new sauces are coming soon! Enjoy as a dipping sauce or as a marinade. Garlic & Ginger Sauce, Tangy Umami soy sauce, and Onion Garlic Umami Sauce. All made by Japanese craftsmen. The uses are endless! Please visit their webpage for updates.

“Nara Tea” teabags are filters made from plant starch.
By burying it in the soil after use, it is hydrolyzed and then completely decomposed by microorganisms. An eco-friendly tea bag that takes into consideration people, the environment, and the earth.

Denison Cellars is a boutique producer and makes fewer than 1,000 cases of wine each year. We are now open for tasting by appointment at Bjornson Vineyard (3635 Bethel Heights Rd. NW, Salem, OR, 97304); Call 541-517-3370 or e-mail tim@denisoncellars.com to schedule your tasting visit.

With Vaccine numbers up and COVID cases decreasing, we have decided to reopen our showroom more fully to the public beginning Saturday, June 12th. We will still be operating at limited capacity, but hope this allows our customers to better experience our shop and we are excited about this step towards normalcy. We have lots of new items in from Japan, so stop by to take a look or bring us some knives for sharpening! We can’t wait to see you!
