JASO’s annual golf tournament is a fundraising program with all funds supporting our programs. The Japanese Ancestral Society is our valued community partner in the event, and some funds raised also go to support their meaningful work in the community.

1:15PM Buffet lunch opens – smoked brisket & chicken BBQ sandwich with slider buns, coleslaw, onion, pickles and BBQ sauce, potato salad and baked beans. Complimentary Asahi beer, lemonade and water available at the bar.

All Golfers Course Information
- Tee boxes are numbered. Men hit from WHITE, women from RED.
- Male seniors aged 65-69 hit from WHITE. Seniors 70+ ONLY hit from RED.
- Male seniors aged 70+ who want to win the car for the hole-in-one prize, you must hit from WHITE.
- Tee-shot mulligans are acceptable for general play, but are NOT eligible to win the hole-in-one prize.
- Glendoveer Golf Club East Course Rules regular rules apply.
- No gimmies (please purchase string if you need help)
- Record your score on scorecard with the pencil.
- Submit your scorecard upon completion.
Overall Awards
You play as a foursome (or 2 or 3 if short). Each person hits each shot. After each shot is taken, agree on which ball is the “best”. Pick up other balls. All hit from the point of the best ball for the next shot. Record your score for each hole.
Each winning team receives a $100 gift card from Sho Restaurant to enjoy a celebratory meal together afterwards!

Purchase some help when you check-in
Mulligans – 4 for $40.
String – $20 – receive 6’ of string and a pair of scissors. Cut the string your desired length, measure from ball towards hole and move ball. Can be used to “hole out” if you wish. Use string until all 6’ used once only.
Honor System used for both mulligans and string use.
Raffle – purchase at check-in
Raffle – 3 for $20, 5 for $30, arm-length for $50. Over 20 raffle prizes including all kinds of Asahi swag, wine, gift certificates, golf accessories, SakéOne saké, bottles of Yamasa soy sauce, and much more.

ALL players are eligible for all on-course prizes. Golfers self-manage hole prize recording tools placed by the course professionals at the relevant holes. For the hole-in-one, you are responsible to make sure both volunteers are watching your tee shot. They must verify any hole-in-one independently.
