Get more deeply involved with JASO by joining one of our volunteer committees. All JASO programming is driven by volunteers from our membership who are passionate about developing business and community by strengthening the US-Japan relationship. Check out the committees and their activities below.

Cultural Committee
Organizes our annual Shinnenkai and Beer Garden programs, plus other cultural gatherings such as Japanese Movie Nights.
Education Committee
Helps develop resources and oversees Japan on the Road, Japan Bowl, and Toyama Cup programming.
Japan Forum
Operates our Japan Forum series, bringing in top presenters for discussing US-Japan related contemporary affairs, business, and more.
Golf Committee
Our annual Golf Tournament brings all together for a fun, and sometimes competitive, round of golf.
Membership & Marketing Committee
Retaining current members and reaching out to potential new members. Hosting programs such as After Hours (networking), New Member Orientation, and Cross-Cultural Workshops.
