Get more deeply involved with JASO by joining one of our volunteer committees. All JASO programming is driven by volunteers from our membership who are passionate about developing business and community by strengthening the US-Japan relationship. Check out the committees and their activities below.

Business Affairs Committee

Operates our Business Speaker Series, bringing in top presenters for quality insights into the US-Japan business conditions.

Cultural Committee

Organizes our annual Shinnenkai and Beer Garden programs, plus other cultural gatherings such as Japanese Movie Nights.

Education Committee

Helps develop resources and oversees Japan on the Road, Japan Bowl, and Toyama Cup programming.

Golf Committee

Membership & Marketing Committee

Retaining current members and reaching out to potential new members. Hosting programs such as Corporate Connections (visiting facilities), After Hours (networking), New Member Orientations and Cross-Cultural Workshops.

Food & Beverage
We can usually supply water and soda simply from our office. If your meeting needs more, be sure to let your staff liaison know.
